The Fisherman
I’d Rather Be Fishing!
Movement time: 10-15 Minutes
DESCRIPTION:
This balancing sculpture is a fun toy for anyone to play with at their home or office when they can’t be on the water!
This is a really fun design to watch - the fisherman looks like he is pulling the rod side to side while the stainless steel bass looks like it is desperately trying to wiggle off the line.
This is one of my all-time favorite designs that I have come up with. I spent a lot of time grinding and welding the shape and detail of the bass for the counterweight. I carefully made the fishing rod the guy uses to fight the giant bass! As with all my sculptures, everything is solid stainless steel and started as raw bar stock and I had to cut and grind everything to proper size and shape.
PLEASE SEE THE VIDEO BELOW TO WATCH IT MOVE AND BALANCE!
