WHAT IS DAMASCUS STEEL?
Traditionally, Damascus steel is used in very high-end custom knife making. This steel has to be forged and folded by hand using multiple types of steel alloys and blended together in a forge.
WHY IS THIS SCULPTURE SO SPECIAL?
These colors, which were produced from flame and Damascus steel, cannot be truly appreciated in video or photo. The colors are deep, rich and beautiful. As if that's not enough, you can see the veins of different steels layered within. I cut and shaped the surfer dude's surfboard by hand and is as unique as a finger print! Absolutely ONE-OF-A-KIND!!
The blue color really shimmers and pops in just the right light. Catching your eye from time to time, it makes for an extremely unique, handcrafted, and exotic desk piece!
