WHAT IS DAMASCUS STEEL?
Traditionally, Damascus steel is used in very high-end custom knife making. This steel has to be forged and folded by hand using multiple types of steel alloys and blended together in a forge.
WHY IS THIS SCULPTURE SO SPECIAL?
These colors produced from flame and Damascus steel cannot be truly appreciated in video or photo. The colors are deep, rich and beautiful. As if that's not enough, you can see the veins of different steels layered within. The bar of steel these two buddies are balancing I cut by hand and is as unique as a persons finger print! Absolutely ONE-OF-A-KIND!!

the bar they are sitting on is 9 inches long
when balancing on the stand it is about 5 inches tall.
